All transactions submitted to the Check21.com Payment Gateway are directed to the client’s financial institution for deposit, allowing each client to comply with KYC, BSA, and AML policies. More importantly, solutions provided by Check21.com, streamline the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Document Management processes.

The Check21.com Payment Gateway is bank agnostic and thus supports integration into any financial institution that allows NACHA or Image Cash Letter file upload.

The Check21.com Payment Gateway allows ACH Credits, ACH Debits, and Check 21 (Physical Checks Captured via a mobile capture device, check scanner, or flatbed scanner) transactions to be submitted.

All of the Check21.com solutions are built using modern technology (i.e. Java, Dropwizard, Vue, etc), which makes integration time significantly less, thereby lowering the cost of implementation. Yes. Depending on the financial institution and the client’s requirements, the Check21.com Payment Gateway retrieves check or ACH returns from the financial institution and provides them to the client via API or the Gateway UI. Clients utilizing the ACH Connect, Payology Mobile Check Capture, or Payology Check Scanning for Salesforce solutions can choose to use the automated negative cash receipt options to manage soft and/or hard returns. This process automatically reverts the original invoices to their original balances.

Prices are determined during the application process and are based primarily on the solution used, transaction volume, and industry type.

ACH Credits, ACH Debits, and Virtual Check 21 solutions are not available to high-risk clients.

Payology Check Scanning requires a check scanner driver to be installed. Once the driver is installed, users will only need a web browser with internet access.

Clients utilizing the Check21.com Payment Gateway are required to have access to ACH file upload functionality and/or Image Cash Letter functionality with their financial institution. If licensing the Payology API or SDK, clients must allocate development resources to ensure all capabilities are working within their cloud-based environment. Clients licensing Payology Check Scanning for Salesforce or ACH Connect are not required to allocate development resources as integration is typically done by Check21.com's team.

Check21.com bills its clients annually, monthly, weekly, or daily depending on the type of solution licensed, the volume of transactions and/or items, and the industry type.

A check scanning device allows users to scan the front and rear image of physical bank checks from their home or office. The same scanner may also allow the scanning of remittance items such as envelopes, mail pieces, forms, and more.

Check21.com's check scanning solution is most commonly ingrained into a clients A/R or A/P SaaS based platform (i.e. Salesforce, Dynamics, etc). The solution would allow organizations to not only scan and deliver check items to their banks but also apply the checks to A/R records simultaneously (i.e. invoices, policies, donations, leases, etc). Banks provided check scanning solutions only allow you to scan and deposit items. You'll have to apply the checks in your A/R system seperately leading to disconnected processes.

The only difference between Check Scanning (also known as Remote Deposit Capture) and Check Capture is how the check item was source. When scanning a check via a Check Scanner, the process is called Check Scanning. When capture a check via a mobile device or flatbed scanner, the process is called Check Capture or Mobile Check Capture, depending on the source.

Our check scanning solution will virtual endorse the rear image of every check item deposited with up to 3 rows of content you choose.

Most check scanners cost between $400.00 and $1,600.00 to purchase, depending on the volume and size of documents which must be scanned. Check21.com does not sell scanners directly but can refer its clients to partners.

Most check scanners do not have buttons which allow for scanning. Commonly, the scanning process is initiated by the solutions used to scan checks. For example, to initiate the check scanning process using Payology Check Scanning for Salesforce, a user would click "Scan Checks" or "Scan Duplex".

Through many of its Application providers, Salesforce, the leading ERP/CRM platform in the world does allow organizations to accept or initiate debit and credit payments utilizing ACH, Credit Cards, Batch Wires, and Crypto payment methods.

Applications found within the Salesforce App Exchange are most commonly Plug-and-Play, although some require a simple or advanced level of configuration. To initiate an ACH payment, you are required to have autorization from the organization or individual, the routing/ABA number, the account number, account type, account title (name on account), and a transaction amount.

Check21.com's ACH Connect supports Next Day ACH payments as well as Same Day ACH payments. This, however depends on your financial institution and any restrictions which may apply.
